1. 00 per day for anyone who's math skills are lacking, and at the Orchid you can double each of the Hilton's amounts.
"Very Solid Hotel! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/7/2012 Vote
2. I've seen other reviews where people complained about the lack of wifi in the rooms (only wired internet is available in the room).
"A very nice resort in a beautiful setting " Read full review on TripAdvisor   12/17/2011 Vote
3. There was no charge for parking, which was nice, but the lack of internet (the staff says there is internet in the lobby and the pool area - you can't use the pool area at night as it's pitch black but even so the internet we experienced in the lobby and pool areas was very very slow) really negatively impacted this vacation.
"Location: gorgeous. Hotel: experience needs some fine tuning. " Read full review on TripAdvisor   11/21/2011 Vote
4. The rooms are fine the service was fine but there is a sorely lacking choice of restaurants.
"needs more and better restaurants " Read full review on TripAdvisor   10/16/2011 Vote
5. The views are wonderful but I didn't like the lack of choice for eating as you are quite a long way from the main cities too.
"Nice but expensive " Read full review on TripAdvisor   8/24/2011 Vote
6. What was lacking: no bathrobes provided in room, no dining table in room despite the available space, radio in room did not work, there was no vent in bathroom, couch cushions kept sinking in (it was a a pull out bed), Water was placed out in the lobby for guests in the afternoon, but not in the morning (despite the number of people who went for a morning run on their jogging trail).
"We enjoyed out stay right on A'Bay " Read full review on TripAdvisor   8/4/2011 Vote
7. It offers you a clean room, a basic Marriott quality of service but lacks any kind of wow factor that you would like to have on a vacation to Hawaii.
"This is more like a business hotel than a resort " Read full review on TripAdvisor   8/2/2011 Vote
8. One complaint we did have was the lack of adequate shade at the pool - only a handful of parasols, then several tent cabanas available to rent at $50 a day, which we thought a bit cheeky asking guest to pay for shade.
"Great hotel, excellent base for exploring " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/21/2011 Vote
9. We were glad that it didn't have a 'Disney-like' resort feel to it, but the atmosphere was also not particularly gracious or remarkable and it certainly lacked any 'Big Island' flare.
"Pretty much what you'd expect " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/19/2011 Vote
10. My one comment would be the lack of any Hawaiian culture within the hotel This made the hotel itself so similar to hotels anywhere else in the world.
"Great Stay " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/10/2011 Vote
