9. It's unfortunate that Hilo, being the prime starting off point for visits to Hawaii Volcanos National Park (which I consider the top attraction on the island), lacks any really nice hotels.

10. There is also an underground garage which is great if it is raining, which unfortunately is most days in Hilo.
