1. my husband has been in construction for years and is a bit hard of hearing - he thought the elevator noise was jet planes going over and over and over.

5. They are extremely noisy: the noise is not caused by the traffic of Banyan Drive (not very much at all) but by: the parking lot and the concrete, echoing awning at the lobby entrance with a busses and cars pulling up etc.

Our 2 night stay was not quiet -- 1) Friday night music from the hotel's 'lounge' (really a bar) kept us awake until midnight even though we were on the 4th floor 2) crying babies & people walking through the hallway are easily heard 3) other guest's water pipes made screeching noises in my room.

10. So this hotel is not pretty, it is even a bit too loud when you have a bunch of teenagers running about, but we had a room with such a fantastic view, that i forgave for noise, the missing hair dryer and the fact that the whole place could use a bit of all over cleaning.
