1. my husband has been in construction for years and is a bit hard of hearing - he thought the elevator noise was jet planes going over and over and over.

7. What can I say? I've been to many of the hotels and that side of the island HILO, and I have to say its been hard finding a decent hotel for the price, This is by far worth the extra money to stay in a beautiful place, that takes pride in taking care of there hotel, I can't say much for the other hotels there in Hilo.

8. 1) Location - located on the lovely Banyan tree drive, and overlooking the bay with some rooms overlooking the ocean, Hilo, the bay, and Mauna Loa & Mauna Kea - hard to get all that in one view but this hotel does.
