1. Loved the dolphins, the 'private' beach, lack of crowds, large rooms with good views, and wonderful housekeeping.

5. The Hotel lacks any real hub which is lively and fun where people can meet/have a drink and as a result, you have to make your way into Waikiki where there are many more options.

7. My feeling was: any physical thing I could have found fault with at the Kahala would probably be due to a lack of a steady flow of capital from a central corporate parent, like the Mandarin Oriental.
