2. Don't get me wrong - the room was beautiful, the mountain view was nice (overlooking the golf course), the lobby was grand, the overall architecture of the hotel was gorgeous, the dolphin lagoon was a pleasant surprise, but there were certain things that just disappointed my wife and I.

4. The beach in front of the Kahala is peaceful (nearly empty) and the waves break quite far offshore - you cannot bodysurf or boogeyboard here, for us disappointing, but not the Kahalas fault.

8. Let me start by saying that my husband posted a lengthy review of our recent stay (see 'disappointed with recent stay' on Feb 13, 2012 by ParadiseLost1978), to which the general manager responded to and asked him to contact her directly to handle our complaints.
