2. In the rooms, you need to connect to a short wire, which means, if you have some work or internet to do, you are tethered to a table looking at a wall rather than being able to sit on the balcony or bed, where you'd want to sit to see anything other than the ugly room.

3. This shabby hotel is threadbare, worn out, with stained room carpets, marked up walls and ugly dated decor.
