1. Convenience store down in lobby was very handy for buying snacks and drinks (including alcohol), and there was an ice machine as well as a laundry on our floorWe used the pool most days and never had any issues, its not as big as some of the other hotels but we were happy with itWe never had any problems waiting that long for a lift like other people commentedOn our last morning we were advised our flight had been delayed for a day and reception were happy to extend our stay in the same room which was a reliefTour desk was touch and go - on the weekend the girl on the desk seemed more interested in chatting to her friends but the one during the week was really helpfulLocation wise - trolley stop right out the front to go into Waikiki (or back from Ala Moana) which was handy, or its about a 20 minte walk into the main area of Waikiki.

2. -The staff was well-organized, -The bed was extremely comfortable,-The elevators had been upgraded and presented no delays during our stay,-The room was clean and even though we were on the 'green plan' the resort performed a full-cleaning once during our stay,-The laundry facilities were clean and well-maintained,-I communicated with Gary prior to arrival and Trent took care of getting us a room right where we requested,-The Ilikai's bellstaff and valets were polite, fast, and they did not make any distinctions because we were part of the Marina Resort and not guests of the Ilikai (Calvin the bellman was the first face we saw on arrival and it set the tone for the stay.

8. A sign at the lobby said something to the effect of 'please excuse the delay with the elevators during our improvements' However, during my stay, there were no obvious improvements or construction taking place.

9. There were delays for the elevators as they were being workedon as was the firealarm system which went off in our roomone afternoon and again one evening about 1130pm; I foundout that it would definitely wake me out of a sound sleep.
