We have currently been without hot water for the last 3 days, with their short term fix to go to a sister hotel next door (Waikiki Marina) which did indeed have hot water, just not a functioning shower head (the Marina rooms were much less desirable, although they were up in the air higher so it was a better view but the room was much more outdated).

6. i know it sounds like a lot compared to the hotels on the beach, but $94 + $2pp and a 5 min bus is well worth it instead of paying more for an outdated room.
