1. This hotel was clean and the decor was nice, but the service was TERRIBLE.

2. There was no ocean view from the room I was given on the third floor, only the pool which was packed with screeching children all day, terrible loud semi live music, and a kiddy coordinator with a megaphone.

I booked my stay at the Newport Beachside 3 weeks before I came down on 6-6-2009 and to my surprise; they didnt have my room and tried to give me another room which I was very upset with being that I had a terrible flight, it was very late, I wanted to get settled, and most importantly; I had already reserved and paid for the room.
