1. We chose to sit outside in the glorious weather with a nice view over the mountains, but you could bring a tray to your room if you preferred.

7. We were pleasantly surprised by all of this, in fact we canceled a night at a different hotel and added to our visit with Frank, If you get room 117 it has a slight view of the ocean.

8. They have nice pool as well, and a view of the ocean ( okay, it's a ways away but not far of a walk) in one direction, and mountains in the other.

9. If you are looking for a view, this may not be the place, but it is 1/2 block from the beach, about a mile and a half to State Street- the heart of Santa Barbara.
