3. The walk to town is about 25 minutes, and in the off season the shuttles stop at 6pm, so the taxi costs can add up if the walk is too long for you.

5. We have come back many times since, and always get one of the Junior Suites with a King bed, kitchenette, etc. Lots of room and a great value for the money--a tiny room in a 'swankier' hotel would cost more.

6. After the first night of our scheduled three night stay, the manager tried to charge us an additional $15 per kid per night, making this place almost as costly as much nicer, roomier hotels on the beach in SB.

8. Being car-free was not a problem because of the frequent shuttle that runs along the beach road (it costs only 25 cents but be sure to ask for a transfer when you get on if you want to take the shuttle that goes up State Street).
