1. We also ate dinner one night at the hyatt restaurant across the street, which was quite nice.

2. My only complaint is that the walls are pretty thin, so if you had a room like ours, backing onto the soccer fields across the street, you might hear some noise during the day, but at night, it was very quiet, and we slept with no trouble.

3. Only downside was the lack of air conditioining howver there are plenty fans and you can leave the window open as the street is very quiet.

The grounds are safe, clean, quiet and ideally located between the SB Zoo and East Beach (playground at beach is nice too!) and a nice walking distance (probably better to drive) to State Street shopping and restaurants, as well as Stearns Wharf where there is a great ocean center/aquarium that is very reasonably priced.
