1. They also offered a free shuttle bus to drive you to the Riverwalk area most evenings between 5 and 9:30pm (except Sunday) that you could call to come and pick you up whenever you were ready.

Of note: I stayed at this hotel to avoid the $20 parking charged at most Riverwalk hotels; However by the time I tipped Hector and Steve (very nice, able , attentive shuttle drivers), coupled with the fact that most places on the Riverwalk offer a free hot breakfast, I definitely did not come out ahead.
