1. The neighborhood felt pretty safe to me-- the main office of the SA police department is 1/2 block away.

2. The location of the hotel is decent, within 3 or 4 blocks of Market Square, but everything else in Downtown is a good 15-20 minute walk through some not so nice neighborhoods.
