2. We decided to book the Lewis and Clark Suite, as one huge room was more fitting for the occasion than a couple of smaller rooms and the Governor's Lewis & Clark Suite was the best value for such a room in dowtown Portland.

If you are staying in Portland I cannot believe that you need to consider another hotel - location was excellentBar staff were very entertaining - Jake's grill offered great value for money with a first class menu try the drinks in the Happy hour It is nice to discover a Hotel that still has good old fashioned service ideals - where the customer comes first.
