Our room was in perfect condition; staff members were attentive and courteous; we booked through the hotel website in advance and received competitive rates; the Governor`s proximity to both the Portland streetcar and MAX lightrail provided free transit and no need to park a car for $24 a night (we returned it to the rental agency after completing our pre-Portland tour of Oregon).

4. You can use the car as much as you need to but giving a couple of dollars tip to the person each time they bring it out makes this a pretty expensive way to park.
