Otherwise, everything one would want in a hotel, except
breakfast
(there was a coffee machine).

Everyone was very helpful, the food was great (I think it possibly has the best
breakfast
bacon in the world!), and the location is very convenient for cultural, museum and shopping activities.

Great shopping was just blocks away and hotel personnel were extremely accomodating in giving directions and offering suggestions for places to eat
breakfast
, etc. Found some really nice off-the-beaten-track places for late
breakfast
and we were extremely lucky that the weather was so beautiful the entire time we were there so that walking around Portland was a pleasure.
