He also made reservations for us at Andina, a fantastic Peruvian restaurant, where we were treated like royalty, including
complimentary
port and sweets after dinner, and best wishes from an attentive staff for a happy anniversary.

Upon check-in the receptionist gave us a fantastic dinner recommendation (La Andina) and made the reservation for us; I'm not sure if it is a standard practice, but we even got
complimentary
of glasses of port and cookies for being guests of The Governor.

complimentary
pre-meal bread until after our meals had arrived, and didn't come back until I flagged him down and asked for our check.
