1. But it was a pretty scary experience for me, and neither the front desk person I spoke to nor the manager I spoke to were particularly comforting or apologetic.

8. Well, after the disclaimer that the bar was run by 'other management' and the grilling of 'were you signing the check to your room' and 'are you sharing a room' (no, but what does that matter?), the manager on duty went off to 'let someone know'.
