1. I guess the pool is great but if you don't want to go to the pool just book another hotel (there are dozens of others on the strip, like the Elara-Hilton Grand Vacations that I loved) and come back when the hotel will be fully renovated.

2. Stayed at this fantastic hotel with my family in 2011 and have booked to come back for my wife's 40th birthday at the end of September with friends this time NO kids.

6. The MGM's location on the strip is okay if you want to walk all the way to the opposite end and back, a hotel mid strip would be a lot more convenient if you plan to spend a significant amount of time wandering.

9. The hotel and the casino are both excellent but it doesn't do shopping malls etc. Great selection of restaurants etc but we found ourselves traveling out each night in a bid to try and see as much as we could.

10. MGM may not be the most luxurious places to stay in Vegas, but it's more than adequate - would like to try other hotels on the strip but would definitely return.
