1. Our room was one of the recently renovated rooms and I was very impressed with the decor and how clean and well laid out it was.

2. The hallways are slightly psychedelic and I prefer the old decor, but the new decor is certainly interesting and not much time is spent in the hallways anyway.

The west wing seems to be the only part of the hotel that doesn't fit the hotel's theme and felt like you entered a twilight zone in the middle of the hallway because the decor was so drasitcally different (but apparently they're doing renovations, just not sure if they're planning on making the west wing the same as the rest).
