1. It's near enough to the shopping and restaurants in Union Square, but removed enough so that you don't encounter the noise, people traffic and bustle of downtown.

6. The hotel was well situated, it is a brisk 15 minute walk from Fisherman's Wharf in one direction and a steeper but shorter walk to downtown in the other.
