1. For us, the location of the hotel was ideal, a bit away from the hustle and bustle of Mid-town for some quiet, but close enough to walk to places we wanted to be or a fast cab ride to those places down 11 Ave.

2. but nothing is on your doorstep so it's a good few blocks walk to get to restaurants/shops etc. but there is a brilliant diner on corner of 11th & 43rd that we ate at every day-Market Diner which is 3mins walk away.

3. And the location--yes, a bit strange at first--you're surrounded by all of the car dealerships in NYC, but it's a comfortable walk to times square and the rest of NYC.

4. The hotel is situated on 11th Avenue whilst Times Square and Broadway are over between 8th and 7th Avenues so it's a good 15 minute walk over there.
