1. The neighborhood is not the most charming, and the subway is a few blocks away, but the scene at the hotel is hopping and the rooftop bar is clearly an attraction.

10. The room's window was a little dirty, unfortunately, but you can solve that problem by heading up to the amazing rooftop bar/lounge (opens at 5pm and stays open well after the shows let out), which is indoor/outdoor with stunning views of the Central Manhattan skyline and the East River.
