1. It had beautiful ballrooms, large corridors and the feeling that a lot of history had occurred within its walls over the years.

4. After all Queen Elizabeth had a dinner for 7000 people here during her tour of America in 1951, who could resist- it is a magnificent room and the stairs and the halls around the ballroom are perfect for any dramatic event.

6. The only positive thing I will say about the hotel is that you do feel like you've stepped back in time and the lobby and ballrooms are all grand and beautiful, but it doesn't make up for everything else the hotel lacks.

9. PROS: 1) This is a grand old chicago hotel seeped in history with magnificent ballrooms and a nice location on South Michigan Avenue2) There is a decent executive lounge that has complimentary food and beverages.
