1. I loved the location because it was close to the Navy Pier, close to bus pick-ups, and had free fishing (hired by the city of Chicago) right across the street.

3. We had a nice view of the river & the hotel is part of the pedway, an underground concourse you can use to reach other streets (helpful during rain, and also to catch a quick breakfast/coffee).

5. If you must stay here, try to park for free on dead end street (feed meter on weekdays) and take the stairs down to the next street level and you will find a Jewel grocery store for sodas/snacks.

7. Great hotel for outdoor runners: just accross the street and down the stairs is Chicago's Riverwalk offering traffic-free running along the river and lake.

9. the lobby is on the street level but you have to take the escalators/stairs up to the 2nd floor and walk to the back to get to the elevators.
