1. Plusses:- Wonderful service- Heavenly bed, of course- Nice gym- Within walking distance to the CTA Clarke/Lake Station, Michigan Mile, West Loop (great restaurants), Millenium Park, Chicago RiverMinuses:- Wi-fi in our room didn't work, and IT wasn't able to fix the problem.

2. The Westin Chicago River North is an excellent choice - the rooms are comfy, its close to a ton of great restraunts and its easy to walking distance to the lake and businesses.

7. It's a several block hike from here to the Lake, but you're very much in the center of the entertainment areas of Chicago - the Loop and Michigan Ave and all of River North.

8. Room minibar had extortionate prices - plenty of convenience stores a short distance away though, so too was the blue E station Clark and Lake - just over the bridge a 5 minute walk and a direct line from O'Hare Airport - only $2.20 and a 40 minute ride.

9. In terms of location we got a blue line train from terminal 3 at O'Hare straight into Park and Lake (about 45mins) and the hotel was only a 5minute walk away, about 10 minutes walks you to the mag mile one way and to the shops of North State Street the other ( Filenes, Old Navy, Macys etc ).
