1. Didn't want to guess if they actually cleaned and changed the sheets and towels or just tidied.

There were three of us in the room my husband and my mum, the room was exceptionally large (larger than I expected for New York) clean and looked better than expected (nice white sheets etc) the rooftop bar is beautiful, the staff were friendly and helpful, close to everything no need to take a taxi you can either walk or take the subway (subway was so convenient and cheap!) would recommend this hotel to anybody and will defiantly stay there again.

6. Watch the linen as I found a couple of stains on the edges of the sheets but otherwise there were no complaints from the girls.

In summary, I tried to overlook the hotel`s shortcomings, and the place oddly grew on me over the three days - sort of like staying at your aged Aunt`s house with the ripped sheets and soft beds - because the staff was helpful, the breakfast was excellent and an overpriced brandy can wash down a number of hospitality sins.
