1. Went back for my case, politely saw manager, paid fee of 75 dollars for leaving early having checked in for 1 hour and made my way back to the Waldorf dragging suitcase as fast as I could.

I ended up having to go to Barnes & Noble around the corner to check up on emails and read the news from home There are a couple business centres with internet access for a fee but one thing I discovered is that there is the facility in the business centre on the 2nd floor to print out your boarding pass for free which is good.

8. Now cabs are $45 flat fee to the airport (+tip ofc) so when the doorman of the roosevelt offered us an idle limo for $55 we trusted him.

9. I have stayed in very expensive NY hotels too and frankly for the price I paid at The Roosevelt the others are a complete rip off (my price was $139 a night before tax and fees).

10. He organised a limosiune to drive us to the hotel, which was magical and when we arrived, the concierge immediately took care of our bags (for a fee of course!).
