As for area food, dinner before our show at Cafe Viand was quick & easy, had some good laughs & great breakfasts at Utopia (Amsterdam & 73rd), popped in to the Dive Bar on 75th for some locally brewed beer, & found some awesome pizza by the slice at some subterranian pizzeria around the corner from hotel (where we caught a glimpse of Gregg Allman leaving the Theatre after the second night's show).

4. It is a great safe neighbourhood to walk about in with lots of great bars and restaurants, a subway station with both express and local trains, within walking distance of Central Park, and with some iconic New York buildings nearby.

5. we stayed here for new year, great hotel, clean, friendly and helpful staff, no bar or restaurant but bars and eating places so near (one even next door), only two streets from subway,supermarkets over the road, near to central park, free wifi, room cleaned every day, super facilities in the room, a bed too comfortable to get out of, tv with loads of channels, in my opinion 11 out of 10 stay.

10. Rooms had everything expected for the price, decent size,comfortable beds,in- room safe, i-pod doc etc etc. You will find plenty of restaurants and bars in the immediatearea and not all at typical NY prices.
