4. Good things:1) Hotel is very well situated if you are going to see a Broadway musical or within walking distance to Madison Square Garden, Central Park, Intrepid museum, buy tickets from Tikts or whatever.

5. Penn station was within walking distance too but 14 blocks is pretty far with all your luggage, better to take subway 1 to 50th street and walk over to the hotel from there.
