5. Convenient to Wall Street and to ferries to the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, etc. The hotel was there on 9/11/01 and has of course been refurbished and modernized, and is generally fairly well-appointed.

Walking distance to shops (Century 21 is practically right downstairs!) and other spots like the World Trade Center Memorial Site, Wall Street/Financial District, South Street Seaport/Fulton, Battery Park, City Hall, Chinatown/Little Italy, etc. Rooms were very modern and comfortable, with great city views.

9. I have stayed at many of the other Hilton properties in NYC t one time or another, including the New York Hilton, Waldorf+Astoria, Hilton Times Square, DoubleTree Times Square, and Hampton Inn South Street Seaport but keep coming back to this one.
