1. Once you check out, they hotel will stamp your parking ticket and we got a reasonable parking rate (again, for NYC).

6. They directed us to a parking garage 2 blocks away, and there is a reduced rate of $34/24 hours if you drive there yourself; it's about $20 more for valet parking, which we didn't opt for.
