1. At 35$ for 24 hours, we think that the hotel could make better arrangements with the parking owner.

2. Called the hotel before arrival to inquire about parking arrangements and get a recommendation as to how I should manuever getting my 3 year old son, our suitcase, laptop bag, camera bag, and 2 additional shopping bags of snacks and toys into the hotel -- before or after parking the car.

3. Some 'niggles':- Central heating system is old and therefore noisy- Lots of noise from A/C units on adjacent properties, which is constant throughout day and night - we coped but some people would find it uncomfortable- Also, view from this room is particularly uninspiring (see photos - car parking lot and yard areas) --- NOTE: all of the 2-bed suites are on the front-face of the hotel, and all 1-bed suites are on the interior ---- Because of the proximity of the car park and surrounding buildings, there was little natural light on the 5th floor- Decor in some parts of the room were 'tired' and need updating, esp.
"A good, centrally located hotel on 49th & Lex " Read full review on TripAdvisor   2/21/2012 Vote
4. Service was perfect, but we were charged 3 days of parking unstead of 2 for an extra hour.

5. Heating element in room was falling down, there was a big multi-storied parking lot behind, with cars honking horns and squeaking tires; I didn't need the kitchen on this trip.

10. Then he directed us to a nearby parking garage that the hotel had an agreement with for a discounted $25 overnight parking rate -- extremely reasonable for Manhattan -- and he kept an eye on all of our things while we went and parked 2 blocks away.
