1. The room was beyond amazing!we had a rap around balcony that had stunning views.
"Best Hotel! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   11/28/2011 Vote
2. Also a HUGE wraparound balcony with outdoor furniture - would be lovely in the summer to eat breakfast outside etc. We didn't get to use it as while we were there it was pretty chilly - and even snowed one day (end of October!).
"Second time staying here - and would definitely return again! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   11/9/2011 Vote
3. We had a one bedroom apt on the top floor and the view and balcony were amazing.
"loved this place - will be coming back! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   7/29/2011 Vote
4. The hotel is well maintained, the room my family and I stayed in (Penthouse B on the top floor, 10th floor) is a nice room, although the view from the balcony (yes the penthouse rooms, PHA and PHB, have balconies) overlooks the backs of other tall buildings.
"Nice Hotel stayed March 9 - 13 " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/20/2012 Vote
5. I'm sure PHA balcony views are much nicer as they overlook the city streets.

6. I've read the other reviews about the street noise and the parking garage in the back of the property, but because we're up this high with a private, wrap-around balcony and a ten foot high concrete wall around it, we can't hear anything in the back (our penthouse faces East 49th Street) and the street noise would be preferable to the banging and clanging of the pump system and the steam heat.
"Mixed feelings " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/6/2012 Vote
7. There was our own private balcony that wrapped around half of the hotel.
"This hotel exceeded my expectations!! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   9/15/2011 Vote
8. During our USA trip we have stayed at 2 hotels in LA situated on freeways where there have been very thick layers of curtains in place and sound proof doors out onto the balcony as measures to try to decrease the noise.
"Excellent place to stay in New York " Read full review on TripAdvisor   7/20/2011 Vote
