1. People have been complaining on trip advisor that the rooms do not have a coffee maker, which is correct, but I called ahead and they made sure my room did have one, complimentary, and it was nicer than the coffeemaker I have at home.

We ate dinner at the Union square cafe, which the palace booked for us at our request, they had obviously had a word with the restaurant as we were treated really well and given complimentary dessert after dinner, also im not sure if it was planned but the palace driver took us there in the hotel limo.
