4. I called 5 days after check out, when we returned home from the holidays, and after unpacking, realized that the items missing were at The New York Palace.

They must do a really good cleaning at check out, because everything was clean on arrival, but during our 1 week stay, there were many things they didn't do - I could tell the bathroom sinks were just given a quick rinse, not a good clean, they never remembered to leave us clean coffee cups or coffee grounds for the coffee maker.

6. From check in to check out the staff were incredibly helpful and obliging (and didn't linger for tips, something we always feel very uncomfortable about as we're never quite sure what to give.

9. On check out we had our boarding cards printed together with our seat selection which was a big help and allowed us a little more time in New York.
