This is a boutique yet unpretentious hotel in an enviable location--small enough to prize first-rate personalised service, including tea with pastries all day with wine/cheese in the evenings; very good air-conditioning (this matters!), comfortable rooms with large bathrooms, and a very helpful concierge.
