1. Very friendly staff, all day complimentary tea and coffee, pastries etc. Free wine and cheese in the evenings, WiFi in all the rooms and public areas, the personal touches made a really pleasant change to the usual big city hotels.

The wifi is complimentary, there are two bottles of water in the room (and you don't have to pay $6 per bottle for them, the way I've seen at other properties), there's a free continental breakfast and a wine and cheese reception, and their snack room (Rick's Cafe) is open 24/7 with cookies and other refreshments.
