1. But the Outrigger Keauhou Beach Resort is a good compromise, with reasonable rates (especially considering the complimentary breakfast buffet) and a location that is quiet and scenic but only a short distance from the center of Kailua-Kona.

6. Being a kama'aina I did get a reduced room rate (Cool) but the thing that brings me back here is the mana that I feel being on the grounds of this hotel in the Keahou area.
