1. But the Outrigger Keauhou Beach Resort is a good compromise, with reasonable rates (especially considering the complimentary breakfast buffet) and a location that is quiet and scenic but only a short distance from the center of Kailua-Kona.

2. We were always pleased with the variety and quantity of the complimentary breakfast; I am vegetarian and my husband is not, and we were both able to have a great breakfast each morning before we embarked on our daily adventures.
