1. When we finally made to the hotel after midnight the gentleman that checked us in (I think night manager) was very pleasant, bell person was very courteous and the room was fabulous.

3. At the front desk I was working with Nicole ( who handled the situation great), and she spoke to the manager and we all came to an agreement about the deposit that satisfied both parties.

7. I followed up with the hotel manager who blamed it on the Marathon organisation and never got as much as an excuse from him or the staff.

8. The safe malfunctioned and needed to be opened by the security officer, who had to lay on the floor to open it and he couldn't even see what he was doing, as the room was too dark to see anything, something the assistant manager described as a 'unique feature' of the hotel.
