4. Anyway for a longer stay I would recommend to stay in a Miami Beach hotel.

5. We're not normally Downtown types, in the past its always been South Beach for us since we generally like the Beach, however the Brickell area is crazy nice.

6. Also, the Brickell neighborhood is trendy (a nice club, Bar 50, is located on the 50th floor of the hotel) and it was a fun place to stay, away from the typical throngs of beachgoers you have to deal with when staying on the beach.

7. Personally, I think staying at the Viceroy offers a better all around Miami holiday than on South Beach or at a more standard resort experience (for example, Ritz Carlton Key Bisacayne).

8. The front desk staff also helped us plan a trip to South Beach, providing maps and recommendations and where to eat, what places to see (the newly developed park at the tip of South Beach is a must see-beautiful!), basically whatever we needed they provided with quick and courteous service.

9. My friends and I wanted to go to South Beach every day, and this also became an issue, as cab rides are $25 - $30 each way.
