1. I wasn't blown away, drinks are very expensive, and it wasn't my favorite type of music, but I think that's more a reflection of where I'm at in my life - enjoying more quiet, intimate bar-type settings.

4. For restaurants walk to the Mary Brickell area which is no more than 10 mins for plenty of fantastic restaurants and bars.

5. The Bar is nice but $18 for an average cocktail is a bit steep not to mention the 18% service charge already added to the bill 'for my convenience'.

7. Also, the Brickell neighborhood is trendy (a nice club, Bar 50, is located on the 50th floor of the hotel) and it was a fun place to stay, away from the typical throngs of beachgoers you have to deal with when staying on the beach.

10. Didn't get to Club 50, our timing was always off, but I understand it's one of the great bar/clubs in the area as well.
