1. Two more points of interest: the hotel offers a free airport shuttle (you just have to book it with the front desk the night before) and in spite of what another reviewer posted.

3. I stayed here back in December, and the positives are that it has a good location on Collins Ave, close to the beach, airport shuttle was on time, and the baggage handler guy was very friendly.

5. We were supposed to be picked up by the 'free shuttle' but we arrived at Miami Airport, we were informed that the shuttle service was not available to us because our flight was delayed to almost midnight and the last shuttle ran at 11 p.m. We were therefore forced to take a taxi.

Five minutes before we were to leave, we were informed that the shuttle was unavailable and that despite the fact that the South Beach Group has six hotels in the area supposedly offering the same shuttle service, no alternative shuttle was available and no alternative arrangements could be made for us.
