6. We found Metropole for a LOWER rate (it was a Monday night, that might have helped) and not only did they have heated rooms but a very helpful and friendly staff, very modern rooms with huge flat screen tvs and comfortable bedding.

9. As for the Metropole, for the weekday rate of about $100 per night that we paid, I guess it was satisfactory -- however, had we been paying the weekend rate ($250-300) for the same (lack of) service we received, we would have rated this experience as poor or well below average.
