Here's what the hotel is: a great value right in Miami at a decent price (except for the unnecessary valet), on the beach (very nice to walk right out to the sand/ocean), suites (great for space conscious or family types), relatively short drive to tonier spots, well maintained (not sparkling and in need of some remediation, but overall very clean - I am picky and the room met my standard).

10. I'm also not sure what would have been within walking distance of the hotel because we travelled everywhere in cars and cabs and I didn't have time to walk around.
