Don't go to The Porterhouse - the rudest staff you have ever met and a
manager
who swears at you and tells you to leave because he expects you to tip a rude barmaid when you actually go to the bar yourself for a drink.

We asked what reds they had - the waitress and
manager
proceeded to carry 5 over to our table and tell us to pick one.

We went to the lobby to see a
manager
and pointed out that our room had not been cleaned until 4pm that day (after we had come back from the beach - we had to get new towels from the maid who said she wouldn't do it until later) and surely we could have the room for a little while past 12 noon - but again were told a definite no to a late check out.

There was no visible
manager
present during our whole stay even with many requests to speak with him/her.

At the end of my trip I spoke to the hotel
manager
about all this, and he said he was indeed having many problems with his housekeeping staff, and had just hired new management to deal with it.
"Nice, but run-down! "
