1. The only complaints I have are that you are required to valet park and it is about $30, and that they charge for internet access.
"Wonderful beachfront hotel " Read full review on TripAdvisor   7/8/2010 Vote
2. Valet parking at $26/day - it's a flat charge so you can come & go but there could be a wait during the peak season to get your car unless you called ahead to have it brought around; allegedly it's a city of Sunny Isles Beach ordinance that requires the valet.
"Love the location, excellent service & right on the beach! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/19/2010 Vote
3. I was ready for the valet parking (and the charge) from the reviews here.
"A great stay! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/11/2010 Vote
4. I pointed out that they had only had pancakes so surely this should be the charge.
"Relaxation by the beach. " Read full review on TripAdvisor   7/18/2009 Vote
5. We didn't like the $24 charge per day (seemed excessive) but at least you always got your car within minutes and with a smile/joke.
"Family of six loved Doubletree Ocean Point! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/13/2009 Vote
6. The only thing maybe to consider is that this is based on the north beach, we had to get a taxi to get to south beach which would usually cost us about $40 one way, kind of expensive, there are buses which only charge $2 to go anywhere around Miami.
"We loved it " Read full review on TripAdvisor   12/12/2008 Vote
7. They also charge $7/day resort fee.
"Depends on what you're after at the Doubletree Oceanpointe " Read full review on TripAdvisor   6/24/2008 Vote
8. I was told on our day of departure that no part day charge was available, even though we only wanted them for a couple of hours - it's a full day's payment or don't use them.
"Disappointing hotel, chaotic service " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/9/2008 Vote
9. It was a little annoying to have a bellman insist on going to the room with us even though 6 of us were more than capable of carrying a few bags, and the $22 parking charge is a little steep, but those were minor in the big picture.
"Great visit " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/25/2008 Vote
10. On our last night my husband did speak with a Hilton honors rep who did not charge us for our other intended nights of stay and he did say he was sorry to hear about the problems.
"No managerial prescence at Doubletree Ocean Point- felt like a refugee " Read full review on TripAdvisor   2/25/2008 Vote
